"Using Obi" - Zoom
Presented by: Laura Felt - Ikenobo School
While living in Japan, Laura began her collection of obi and obishime at the local flea markets and began to discover how they could be used and enjoyed in her home. She shared her extensive collection and described the differences in contemporary and antique obi, the use and meaning of different fabrics, and the appropriate season of the year for certain patterns and fabrics.
