"Bonsai - The Only Living Art Form"
Presented by: Peggy Snow - Ikenobo School
Peggy Snow has been growing bonsai for about 30 years and has won awards at the national level. For this program she brought a number of her bonsai trees, both large and small, and taught us the process of creating and growing living art.
Through her description of the trees she shared the esthetic of bonsai. Some of the trees in the exhibit had been grown from seedlings, while others were purchased or dug up as older trees. The bonsai trees in the display varied in age from quite young to 150 years old.
